CH Beam Splitter Replacement (2)
Today we have replacemented the original Beam Splitter (II-VI) that we calibrated to Tor Vergata (see for details the entry "Polarization vs rotation of the beam splitter (2)" in Tor Vergata Section).
We have put the beam splitter in a particular position in order to have a minimum polarization. After this we have controld the setup and alignment the bench NI and WI.
Moreover we have calibrated the attenuator for the central heating: power trasmitted in operation with the step (variable that is visualized in the software interface). The power range of the central heating (CH) is:
NI: 0 ----- 83 mW
WI: 7 mW ---- 120 mW
After we have also calibrated the power the ring...In the following report the figures.
The minimum power for the ring CO2 in both bench is around 150 mW.
In the following figures we report the picture of the Ring and Central heating after the alignment and the substitution of the beam splitter.
